Direct Air Capture
The University of Arizona Center for Innovation (UACI) supports a variety of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) American-Made Challenges in collaboration with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The American-Made Challenges helps to incentivize entrepreneurs to strengthen American leadership in energy innovation and U.S. manufacturing. The American-Made Challenge was designed to support renewable energy innovations by lessening the obstacles faced by tapping into a diverse and powerful support network that leverages national laboratories, science and tech startup incubators and other resources across the country. UACI is one of only 16 Power Connectors in the productive partnership that connects entrepreneurs to the private sector and the DOE’s national network of laboratories.
