September 21, 2026 (Tucson, Ariz.) -The University of Arizona Center for Innovation (UACI) is pleased to announce that 3MB Science and Technology has been selected as the winning company for the UACI Sponsored Launch Fueled by the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce and Town of Oro Valley.
UACI is Arizona’s leading and longest continuously operating incubator, helping innovators turn breakthrough ideas into successful companies and has supported over 300 science and tech-based startups. As the selected company, 3MB Science and Technology will receive a one-year sponsored entry into UACI, gaining access to the people, place, and programming to help bring its innovation from concept to market.
3MB Science & Technology is an Arizona-based life-science startup developing laboratory filtration and container-closure technology. The company is developing a low-cost, single-use device that would allow laboratories, healthcare providers, and veterinary clinics to safely filter and prepare materials without needing a cleanroom or expensive equipment. By reducing barriers to sterile preparation, 3MB aims to help innovators and caregivers bring critical products and services to more people, more efficiently.
Starting in October, 3MB will leverage dedicated lab space in UACI at Oro Valley to advance prototype development and testing while working with experienced mentors and subject matter experts. Through access to UACI facilities, industry network, and the UACI Program Roadmap©, the company will refine its business strategy and pathway to market.

Through a longstanding partnership with the Town of Oro Valley and the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce, UACI provides critical support to early-stage and emerging growth companies with the potential to create jobs, attract investment and drive innovation. Through this partnership, the Town of Oro Valley and the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce have sponsored six startups that have completed UACI’s program.
Since its inception, the collaboration has helped numerous startups access the tools, mentorship and connections needed to advance their commercialization efforts and position themselves for long-term success.
