July 16, 2026 (Tucson, Ariz.) - The University of Arizona Center for Innovation (UACI), which serves as the science and technology startup incubator network of Tech Parks Arizona, has opened applications for the UACI Sponsored Launch fueled by the Oro Valley Chamber and Town of Oro Valley. Early-stage science and technology startups are invited to apply by August 14, 2026, for a sponsored year of admission to the UACI incubator to accelerate their path to commercialization.
Eligible applicants must have a startup team that lives or operates in the Town of Oro Valley and is committed to developing innovative solutions that create meaningful local and global impact. The selected startup will receive a dedicated workspace in UACI at Oro Valley, the bioscience-focused incubator, along with access to specialized facilities, expert business mentoring and a robust network of entrepreneurial resources.
The UACI Sponsored Launch reflects the ongoing collaboration between UACI, the Town of Oro Valley and the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce to strengthen Arizona's innovation ecosystem and support the growth of high-potential startups. Through Sponsored Launch initiatives, the partnership has helped emerging companies access the expertise, infrastructure and connections needed to scale their businesses. Continued investment from the Town of Oro Valley advances regional economic development by fostering entrepreneurship, innovation and high-quality job creation.
UACI provides the people, place and programming needed to successfully launch and scale a business. The program offers access to wet and dry laboratory space, meeting rooms, and comprehensive support through the UACI Program Roadmap© guiding startups through every stage from refining business models to obtaining funding.
In addition to one year of sponsored entry into UACI, the winning startup will receive membership in the Oro Valley Chamber. This membership grants access to events, exclusive deals, and connections to a network of businesses in Oro Valley. The combined value of this package, totaling over $10,000, is generously funded by the Oro Valley Chamber and the Town of Oro Valley.
