The Small Business Administration (SBA)

EARLY-STAGE FUNDING LIAISON
The SBA utilizes UACI as a liaison to reach advanced technology entrepreneurs and connect them to the country’s largest source of early-stage “seed” funding – the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. The SBIR/STTR programs, led by the SBA with 11 participating federal agencies, focus on next-generation research and development (R&D).
