Venture Madness 2025 Finalists

Arizona’s longest running capital conference and early-stage pitch event has announced their finalists! Valence Intelligence Systems, Metfora Diagnostics and Precision Epigenomics are three of the 16 finalists chosen from over 125 applications and this April they will compete in a live pitch event in Tempe, AZ, and showcase their innovative and ground-breaking work to accredited investors and entrepreneurs. Since 2013, Venture Madness has helped grow the investor and entrepreneurial ecosystem with 300+ attendees each year. Valence and Metfora are current University of Arizona Center for Innovation (UACI) startup clients while Precision Epigenomics is an alumnus from our program. Metfora and Precision Epigenomics are based on University of Arizona research and licensed through Tech Launch Arizona.

The University of Arizona Office of Research, Innovation & Impact launched a new initiative to address pressing global challenges through groundbreaking, transdisciplinary research. It is open to teams that include U of A faculty, students, postdoctoral researchers, and research staff. The focus areas for the Big Idea Challenge include Energy and Environmental Sustainability, The Future of Health and Biomedical Sciences, Space Sciences, Data, Information Systems and Artificial Intelligence. Selected teams will receive seed funding of up to $125,000 annually over two years to catalyze their big idea. This is your opportunity to take part in game-changing research and innovation that tackles regional, national, and global challenges.
