Guests heard presentations from UArizona thought leaders and got a taste of the UArizona innovation ecosystem with the Entrepreneurial Lounge where Tech Parks Arizona, UA Center for Innovation and Tech Launch Arizona team members mingled with over 200 global entrepreneurs and creatives. It was a night well spent, conversing with the innovators behind the latest trends in tech.

El Tour de Zona

UACI team members took the opportunity to travel to Sierra Visit during the El Tour de Zona bicycling tour. This provided UACI with the benefit of chatting with the folks and visitors about the innovation landscape in the area. Over the last 18 months, UACI has explored the area, talking with leaders and integrating with the community. As UACI establishes a presence in the area, it is important to keep in mind the value they add in serving Sierra Vista. This service comes in the form of economic development; when startups are successful they attract capital to a region, hire employees and purchase infrastructure there.
