El Tour de Zona

UACI team members took the opportunity to travel to Sierra Visit during the El Tour de Zona bicycling tour. This provided UACI with the benefit of chatting with the folks and visitors about the innovation landscape in the area. Over the last 18 months, UACI has explored the area, talking with leaders and integrating with the community. As UACI establishes a presence in the area, it is important to keep in mind the value they add in serving Sierra Vista. This service comes in the form of economic development; when startups are successful they attract capital to a region, hire employees and purchase infrastructure there.
