CellMedics Inc. Wins Business Support through UACI in Collaboration with Oro Valley Organizations
UACI is pleased to announce that CellMedics Inc., a company based in Las Vegas and expanding operations into Tucson, has been selected to receive business support from the University of Arizona Center for Innovation (UACI) for winning the UACI Sponsored Launch fueled by Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce and Town of Oro Valley competition.
CellMedics' was selected from the pool of applicants for its drive to pursue an innovative solution that addresses a real-world challenge. CellMedics is developing patented therapeutic and pharmaceutical formulations to improve drug delivery efficacy through transdermal drug delivery cream. Drug delivery is targeted locally into site-specific tissues or systemically into the bloodstream. Patented cream formulations with enhanced bioavailability have been developed for skin conditions, arthritis & chronic pain and nail fungus. Partnering with UACI provides CellMedics with essential resources and expert guidance to advance its cutting-edge solutions, contributing to local economic growth and global healthcare progress. This milestone marks a significant achievement for CellMedics as it expands its footprint and influence into the community via the bioscience incubator UACI at Oro Valley.

Science Synthesis Prize - Generate new and comprehensive knowledge on the current state of science in renewable integration with the $125,000 Science Synthesis Prize
Open Voucher Call - Accelerating technology commercialization while connecting the public with U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratory facilities.
Solar Prize Round 8 - The American-Made Solar Prize Round 8, offers more than $4.2 million in cash prizes and technical support vouchers.
Solar Energy Supply Chain Incubator - Provides up to $38 million for research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) projects that de-risk solar hardware, manufacturing processes, and software products across a wide range of solar technology areas.

Arizona Innovation Challenge
The Arizona Innovation Challenge (AIC) brings new and exciting opportunities to Arizona entrepreneurs, granting 10 awardees up to $150,000. Each awardee will be enrolled in the Arizona Commerce Authority's premier mentor-led accelerator, Venture Ready Accelerator, as well as exposed to investors, business executives, successful startup CEOs, and media. Applications open on August 1 and close August 30.
